(STINGER: AEW) AEW is loading up next Wednesday’s Dynamite “Grand Slam” special from Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City. And topping the card will be AEW Champion Kenny Omega vs. Bryan Danielson one-on-one...in a non-title match. The two faced off in the ring on last night’s Dynamite and agreed to the match. Also last night, Darby Allin pinned Shawn Spears with the Coffin Drop. After the match, FTR attacked both Allin and Sting. Now, those two teams are set to meet on next Wednesday’s Dynamite “Grand Slam” show. FTR beat Dante Martin & Matt Sydal last night. Martin took the pin after FTR hit him with the Big Rig. Dr. Britt Baker’s defense of the AEW Women’s Title against Ruby Soho is also now set for next Wednesday’s Grand Slam show. Adam Cole’s AEW in-ring debut last night was a win over Frankie Kazarian. Cole pinned Kaz after a Panama Sunrise and The Last Shot. After the match, Cole challenged Christian Cage & Jurassic Express to face him and the Young Bucks at Arthur Ashe Stadium next Wednesday...in a match that will air on the September 24th episode of Rampage, which will be a two-hour episode. Also announced for the September 24th Rampage, CM Punk’s first match on broadcast TV in over seven years. He’s set to take on Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs, Hook and Taz orchestrated an attack on Punk while he was a guest on commentary during last night’s Dynamite...punctuated by Hobbs choke slamming Punk onto the announce table. The table did NOT break. The latest in-ring tirade by Dan Lambert last night was answered by Chris Jiercho & Jake Hager...who will face Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky on the September 24th episode of Rampage from Arthur Ashe Stadium. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston beat 2.0 in last night’s main event. After the match, Minoru Suzuki made his return to Dynamite - with his full entrance - and Suzuki and Lance Archer brawled with Mox & Kingston as the show went off the air. Jade Cargill beat LEGIT Leyla Hirsch. Cody Rhodes returned to Dynamite last night. He brawled with Malakai Black after Black was first confronted and attacked by actress Rosario Dawson. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight’s Impact Wrestling is the final stop for Saturday night’s Impact Plus exclusive show Victory Road. There’s a big 10-Man Tag announced for tonight’s episode: Impact World Champ Christian Cage, X-Division Champ Josh Alexander, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards & Sami Callihan vs. Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Moose, W. Morrissey & Brian Myers. Also tonight, Trey Miguel vs. Matthew Rehwoldt... TJP vs. Petey Williams...and Violent By Design vs. Decay. The announce team for the upcoming Knockouts Knockdown show on Impact Plus was announced on Wednesday. Veda Scott will do play-by-play...Mickie James will be on color...and the ring announcer will be Melissa Santos. (STINGER: WWE) The NXT UK Tag Team Titles are on the line on today’s episode. Pretty Deadly is set to defend against Gallus’ Joe & Mark Coffey. Also announced for today’s show… a semifinal match in the Heritage Cup #1 Contender Tournament: Noam Dar vs. Kenny Williams. Major League Wrestling announced Wednesday that Alex Shelley is joining MLW and will be the eighth and final entrant in this year’s Opera Cup tournament. MLW’s Court Bauer also announced that Myron Reed will defend the MLW Middleweight Championship at the Fighland show on October 2nd...in a 4-Way against Tajiri, Arez, and Aramis.
