Sad Implications: Recent Episodes

NyWB Presents

Weeterbeetle and Nyleedle just kinda Exist and Have Conversations and y'know what? That's pretty neat. Join a couple of existing and conversing high schoolers (and the occasional guest) for half an hour of music, true crime, high school shenanigans, conspiracy theories, and the most genuine kind of madness they can muster. Episodes are posted on Fridays as they are available, remember to follow us and turn on notifications to get alerted when we decide to crawl out of our deep dark lonely cavern to yell at you.

This week... pretty much everyone in existence is on the communist futon, up to and including Bee's partner Lou... y'know, in spirit. Through call. It's a fun time. Featuring: American Propaganda soda, cotton chicken candy nuggets, renaming of the Elf, and a playlist about hating your ex-husband, which is primarily just Queen's greatest hits. Because we have excellent taste here. I HATE MY EX HUSBAND playlist by Bee and Lou- https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6wtZr4tudgTjb93dhVRD8j?si=_ahfbKZqQ7ihNj8HtNMsnQ&utm_source=copy-link&dl_branch=1 Important:  Starting with the April 16th installment, all episodes of Sad Implications elements of fiction. The pair gets their first piece of fanmail! Yeah, after all this time of asking, their wish is granted. Wait a minute, who the heck is Kyle? Kyles, plural? When the confusion from that wears off, our hosts are joined by the fabled Elf (who says she isn't an elf but yes she is) and once again, Bee. We're starting to think that Bee is just the third cohost at this point. They talk about... I mean, everything, honestly. Steve (about whom you get exactly ZERO context), the Elf's opinion on a book she has never read, and Nyleedle's dream about the monsters from Where The Wild Things Are. Content warnings: Mention of drugs, mention of bodily harm and death, threats

Important:  Starting with the April 16th installment, all episodes of Sad Implications elements of fiction. We wish to stress that that nobody involved in the Sad Implications Podcast is in any real danger.

Weeterbeetle is... less than thrilled this morning, for pendulum-clock-related reasons. Other than that, Bee joins us again this week to talk about soup, car keys, and finger joints. Oh yeah, and apparently this is a recipe podcast now. Because that's a logical transition to make. Note from Nyleedle: This is the 'Sponsored by' episode Note from Weeterbeetle: No it's not, nobody is paying us to talk about 24/7 Lofi Hip Hop streams or soup.

Content Warning: Extensive conversation about Cannibalism Mention of DIY piercings Mention of bodily harm Spoilers for The Road by Cormac McCarthy Loud Noises, exasperated yelling Bee (insect) sounds Mention of stabbing Mild allusion to police brutality Mention of death Sounds of eating (no chewing or smacking) Existentialism

Important:  Starting with the April 16th installment, all episodes of Sad Implications elements of fiction. We wish to stress that that nobody involved in the Sad Implications Podcast is in any real danger.

This week's guest? The random person the hosts found wandering the hallways last week. Hoping to learn more about the Highly Trained Individuals, Nyleedle and Weeterbeetle interview the highly suspicious Lucia (probably a fake name, but whatever). Vermin Supreme is discussed (in detail), the Goonies is used as a hasty topic change, and the name 'Jeff' is brought up a suspicious amount. So y'know, basically a normal episode.

Content Warning:

Joking talk about non-serious politics

Mention of Death

Mention of bodily harm

Technical Difficulties: The Episode! WB and Ny talk about the wonder that is Matt the Rat from Barbie: Island Princess, best noted for being played by... himself? Half way through, the hosts are joined by special guest All Spice, ready to offer her input on the Great Boston Molasses Flood and the Italian Anarchists who allegedly caused it. And then we hop right back on over to Matt the Rat because... yeah, no, we're still baffled by him.  Wait, did I not mention the timetravel??? Oh, well then, let's fix that-  Hey guess what? Nyleedle and Weeterbeetle timetraveled. There we go, all summarized.

Content Warnings: Conversation about mass death (the Boston Molasses Flood) Mention of poison Mention of a military tank

So... Nyleedle got in a fight, apparently. Yeah, Weeterbeetle is just as surprised as you are. When Ny walks in with a black eye, the hosts realize that they need to be quieter about the, ahem, highly trained individuals living in the school. But it's not all bad news- they get to do this episode in the teacher's lounge on a futon! Featuring a quick appearance by friend Bee, a special message for you and you only, WB getting irrationally angry about the cryptid mongoose Gef, and Nyleedle getting irrationally angry about... bushes not being made of water. Because those are all logical things that logical people get mad about. Yep.

Content Warnings: Mention of physical violence, character getting beat up Unreality Mention of death Conversation about Gef the Mongoose, talking animal cryptid

SFX: https://freesound.org/people/InspectorJ/sounds/413187/

Important: From here on out, all episodes of Sad Implications will have elements of fiction. We wish to stress that that nobody involved in the Sad Implications Podcast is in any real danger.

Nyleedle has decided that she wants nothing more than to be a little Sicilian bug chef who grew up in Russia. I sincerely hope you aren't expecting more of an explanation than that because you simply Will Not Get One. The pair contemplate the logistics of being pumpkins, being inside pumpkins, pumpkins being inside you, and what greenery would be used by a fairy godparent to make a car.

Content Warnings:  Mention of Blood

Joined by the delightful Arsonist, Nyleedle and Weeterbeetle return from their year-long hiatus. A debatably dry orange is peeled, UFOs are sighted, phone calls are ignored, and we completely glaze over the fact that the Arsonist is a Vermin Supreme simp, amongst other things. Oh, also small children looking you dead in the eyes as they eat the rind of a pumpkin, can't forget that. You... you can never forget that, not even if you try. You will never be able to put out of your mind the intense look in the eye of that small child as you heard the crunch of her teeth into the pumpkin rind. You. Will. Never. Forget.  Oh also new cover art!!! :D

Disclaimer from Nyleedle:  For best experience, imagine clown honks over any and all expletives

Content Warnings:  Blood Discussion of death, the afterlife, religion  Brief discussion of homophobia  The word 'homo' used in a reclaiming way

This week, WB and Nyleedle talk about Lemons in suits (not anthropomorphic apparently), the Romanovs, and whether or not Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy exists. The pair are joined by (reluctant) special guest The Red Man, who dyed his hair with the blood if his enemies and won't stop spraying Axe wherever he goes. Are there no standards for smelling good anymore?

Content Warnings:  Blood  Minor Gaslighting Death, the afterlife, religion Mention of incest

Weeter Beetle and Nyleedle are rambling into to your ears whether you like it or not! In the first episode of Sad Implications, Weeterbeetle and Nyleedle cover an obscure 'It' miniseries from India, Dean Winchester's relative shortness, and... Iran? Or is it Guatemala? Er, well, anyways, one of the two. All of these topics and the true habits of the majestic animal that is the Badmitten Birdie on episode 1 of Sad Implications.
