Imagine this for a moment...
You're on the phone with a potential client.
You tell them the price.
They're okay with it.
You keep going with presentation and they sound excited!
You're thinking this is the one and finally you'll get paid.
You spend extra time on this person during the sales pitch because you know it's a done deal.
You get to the end and it's credit card time!
Wham bam thank-you mam-time!
Then the worst thing ever happens.
The unthinkable will happen...
They speak the most horrifying words ever...
"Ok sounds good, but let me think about it."
And then they hang up.
....
Your jaw drops.
Shocked. Scared. Confused.
It happens to us all.
It happens to my company everyday.
And it's actually not a bad thing.
Here's why...
It's kind of like walking to a stranger's house and then knocking.
They respond by opening the door.
And then you ask, "Hey, would you like to snuggle on the couch and get to know each other?"
Human reaction would be to slam the door in your face.
You know, call the cops kinda moment.
If they haven't slammed the door, that means they're interested in some fashion.
Maybe it's your slick haircut.
Maybe it's your charisma.
Who knows?
Every second that door remains open is only a sign they're not against the idea.
And who knows, they may let you in on the first knock!
Some people would rather snuggle than give you money.
That's just America, don't ask lol.
Back to business scenario though:
So if you ask for money and they're still interested...
CONGRATS!
You're 90% there!
That person is a candidate.
Only 10% of these type of people will give you a card today.
And that's if everything is dialed in perfectly.
The other 90% will need follow up.
And they will cash in too eventually!
It would be bad if 90% of America would let you in their house for a "snuggle" on first knock.
:)
So takeaway?
It's ok if 90% say no right now.
If they're interested they will close.
And one day?
People will close everyday for you if you keep building up the follow up pipeline.
That initial 30 days is hard.
But this concept no one hardly gets.
Want to close $100K in January?
Plant $1,000,000 worth of deals in December.
10% of that will close in January.
It all comes down to planting one month and sowing from that the next month.
How would you do that?
If you're product is $3,000.
You'd have to have 11 conversations a day around your offer.
That's it.
You'd close $100k the next month if you did everything right.
To get 11 conversations a day like that it may would take 50 leads from social media.
That's around $500 in ads if each lead was $10 per lead.
With 10% closing ratio and all the numbers would play out.
You see how it's all about the math?
That's how you scale.
It's all about math and once you have that...
It's scale it up time!
Sounds easy, right?
Actually no, but if you see the bigger picture you'll do amazing!
You'll build a machine that can last for years and take care of your wants/needs financially.
