It's an interesting time we live in.

You can go to a seafood restaurant and see something very strange.

Demographics at a place like this for most is usually people at the age of 50+.

These are the baby boomers.

They lived in a world where air condition wasn't a thing.

When TV wasn't in every home.

When grocery shopping was once or twice a month.

When people sat on the front porch and just talked.

These same people sit in this restaurant sit to eat and if you look around you'll see them do the unthinkable.

You'll see many of them glancing over their phones across the table from their spouse of many years.

And they almost forget why they're here to begin with.

I'm seeing this more and it's funny to watch her get a hold of him.

She almost has to call him to get his attention.

Here's my point.

The spouse of 50 years can't his attention due to his attention glued to a screen.

It's getting harder and harder for her.

And with that in mind...

How easy for you will it be to sell a product in this situation?

She has 50 years of his trust (hopefully) and sitting across the table.

You have spent zero time with him, he doesn't trust you, and he's skeptical of everything.

She can't get his attention and right now you can't either with advertising.

How do we survive in this new market we are in?

Do something the spouse can't do.

And that's get HIS attention.

Some think that means stripping down naked to get attention.

Some think swearing every 3rd word will do it.

Some think creating conspiracies will do it.

The real answer?

Don't be boring.

Get addicted to energy.

Have a message that he believes but no one is saying or even scared to say.

And that means to have courage.

Problem is as a business, most blend in.

They don't want to shake the waters too much.

And that's what kills the business.

We need attention.

You got to get people to hear you.

But how?

When he talks to you listen.

Then listen to his niche.

Take their calls and listen.

Soon you'll find the key things to say.

Soon you'll have his attention.

And his wife will be jealous.

Because now? He's listening to you.

So it means putting yourself out there via media.

And then promoting it.
