“Itadakimasu/itadakimashita” is a humble way of saying “ moraimasu/moraimashita” and is usually used for your boss, older person (or client). And it cannot really be translated into English.

Anyway, let’s start with warming up. Change the sentence to the one using 〜itadakimashita.

For example,

I got a book from Murakami san.

→ I got a book from Murakami san.

1. → I got a dictionary from sensei.

2. → I got a chocolate from a client.

3. → I got vegetables from my neighbour.

4. → I got a souvenir from my colleague.

5. → I got sake from an acquaintance.

Next, use the same sentences to answer the questions, changing to “itadaitan desu”.
