This episode is brought to you by LMNT! Spelled LMNT. What is LMNT? It’s a delicious, sugar-free electrolyte drink-mix. I tried this recently after hearing about it on another podcast, and since then, I’ve stocked up on boxes and boxes of this and usually use it 1–2 times per day. LMNT is a great alternative to other commercial recovery and performance drinks. As a coach or an athlete you will not find a better product that focuses on the essential electrolyte your body needs during competition. LMNT has become a staple in my own training and something we are excited to offer to our coaches and student-athletes as well. LMNT is used by Military Special Forces teams, Team USA weightlifting, At least 5 NFL teams, and more than half the NBA.
You can try it risk free. If you don’t like it, LMNT will give you your money back no questions asked. They have extremely low return rates. LMNT came up with a very special offer for you as a listener to this podcast. For a limited time, you can claim a free LMNT Sample Pack—you only cover the cost of shipping. For US customers, this means you can receive an 8-count sample pack for only $5. Simply go to DrinkLMNT.com/JustinClymoto claim your free 8-count sample pack.

[00:08:01] We're not going to get out there and all the talk and not back it up. We're going to get down to business. We're going to go play every day and that's non-negotiable on that side.
[00:16:28] But my goal is to adapt and do that as I go, because sometimes you just get so narrow-minded with things and you forget these kids, you got to enjoy and have a little fun too.
[00:17:34] What's your personality as a coach, and be able to adapt and figure that out over the last eight years has been a tough and frustrating process at times, but it's been very rewarding as far as listen, this is who I am as a coach. I'm not this guy, this is who I am and how I handle things. I just do it a little bit differently. And being able to accept that a little more, I think has been something that's helped me over the last few years.
[00:20:10] It's not just, hey, we need to go win a championship. No, it's we need to take care of it of today. And we need to take care of this drill. And each guy needs to understand that the details within that affect your teammates. So, if you're not out there giving a hundred percent of this drill, you're actually hurt your teammate.
[00:21:16] We talk about turning your resume every single day. It's not just turning into the start of the year and think you got a job, you got to keep turning the thing every single day and build on to that resume.
[00:21:37] Do you want to be a teammate that is going to get invited to weddings from your other teammates when you get a little bit older?
[00:26:18] Failure is not permanent; it's a learning lesson.
