Ever since the lockdown, the performing arts industry has had to face a number of challenges, with many casting agents changing the way they perform auditions, to theatres being out of use due to Covid-19 restrictions. The New Adelphi theatre is the heart of the University of Salford’s Performing Arts division, and many great shows have been performed there. Ashlee Cox, the Front of House and Audience Development Coordinator at the New Adelphi Theatre, has sat down with me to discuss the what she feels is in store this year for the theatre and arts sector, upcoming virtual events and how the theatre has adapted to online events.
