One leading cause of divorce is hard-heartedness.  When either the husband or wife has a hard heart, it is tough to heal a marriage.  You only seek your own desires and destroy your spouse in the process.  Today, Pastor John will encourage you to pray continually for a soft heart.  Pray that God will guard you against selfishness, bitterness, and covetousness.  Pray for your spouse often in these same ways.  Always stay humble and willing to sacrifice for him or her.  In these ways, God can reconcile difficult marriages.
