Heaven is full of splendor, glory, and perfection.  Why would anyone leave it to come to this sinful, broken world?  Jesus, God in the flesh, chose to willingly leave his majesty in Heaven to come to earth to a dirty stable.  Pastor John explains today that he came to reveal God to man.  No one can see God, but to behold Jesus, is to see God.  He also came to redeem man from the brokenness of sin and reverse the curse of sin and death.  Without this miracle, humanity is lost.  What a gracious God we serve.
