In chapter 25 we read about the marriage duty of a brother-in-law. This law allowed a widow to marry her husband’s brother, or nearest relative to bring up a son and continue the family name. We read an example of this custom in the book of Ruth where Boaz was willing to marry the widow Ruth, and thereby served as the kinsman redeemer. This is a depiction of Christ who became our Kinsman Redeemer to carry on the entire human race. Let’s join Pastor John now as he teaches from chapter 25 today….
