Chapter 14 verse 2 says, "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth." God chose Israel out of all the nations on the earth to be his chosen people, holy and set apart for Himself. He also chose, us, his church as his children and we are to live a life that is different from others in the world. Our study begins in chapter 14 today where Moses warns against idolatrous practices. Let’s join Pastor John now as we continue our survey of the book of Deuteronomy.
