The Galatians freedom in Christ was being silenced by a group called Judaizers who insisted that they follow the law. They were in danger of turning away from the grace of Jesus Christ and embracing religious legalism once again. If they did, Paul felt that perhaps his hard work was for nothing. He was heartbroken over the path they were choosing. He pleads with them and asks, “Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?"
