Paul wrote to the Galatians because they were being influenced by false teachers called Judaizers. These teachers were telling Gentiles that in order to be saved they must first become Jews and keep the Law of Moses. Paul tests the Galatians with a series of questions concerning the Law and faith. He writes, “How foolish can you be? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?"
