26th July is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas. The day commemorates the victory of India, when the Indian Armed Forces defeated the enemy to re-conquer Kargil. It was in the 1999. Victory is a noun which means an act of defeating an emeny or opponant in a battle, game or competition.
