It is the anniversary of first human being to to fly to space. On 12th April 1961, Yuri Gagarin, a Russian pilot and cosmonaut, took this space expedition on Vostok 1 and opened new avenues for mankind to progress in the direction of space exploration. Avenue is noun which means a way of approaching or making progress towards something.
