We're in a steady orbit around "planet B", one of 2 known Super-Earth size planets that orbit the red dwarf star Lacaille 9352 a mere 10.7 light years from home. One of our 3 main solar sails has developed a stress fracture likely from our initial deepspace slingshot around Neptune. Whilst we await a status report on potential damage and onward mission viability, we've begun an atmospheric survey of plant B. Who knows, we may be able to truly set foot on an alien world soon...
