Sometimes within our “tribes” or communities, there are rules (spoken or non) set in place that assumedly keep the tribe “safe” or “moral”. Often these most likely well-intentioned standards have detrimental consequences that lead people to have to navigate internal guilt and shame. This session begins to open up the realm of thought surrounding systemic moral rules and how the individual must process and navigate the rules that do not necessarily align with individuals in the tribe. Let’s explore this complex topic and begin some of the self-reflective work of exploring how one can navigate this at the individual level.
