Let’s start with Kriti Sharma from the United Kingdom
Kirti Sharma focused on the problem that almost every country faces, ‘violence against women. Her mother became a journalist in times when society was majorly dominated by men. That left an impression in her mind. Hence she thought of creating an impression on others' minds.
Denise Hardesty from Australia
Dr. Denise Hardesty always had a connection with nature. So, she thought of building something that could help the environment. She is the principal research scientist at CSIRO, which is Australia’s national science agency is finding a solution to finish plastic waste.
Alice Piterova from the UK
Alice Piterova concentrated on the problem that is spreading like fire, CoronaVirus. She saw the alarming increase in numbers in refugee camps. So, with her cohort at AI permanently, UK, she developed an AI-aided model to simulate the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Hadas Bitran from Israel
Becoming a doctor was Hada’s passion, but she was into computing since she was 12. So, when Covid hit the world, she found an excellent opportunity to fulfill her passion. She developed a bot to help the frontline healthcare workers. She designed a bot that could perform basic self-assessment tests. People can check their symptoms before they decide if they should go to the already crowded hospital or ER.
These are some of the major achievements that women have made in the world of AI. We are proud of these women who have used their knowledge and power for the betterment of society. I hope this inspires others to take a step towards working on their knowledge to create something exceptional.
