Hi there! And welcome to the show. Today I’m taking inspiration from the Megan and Harry Oprah ITV interview, whether you believe in her interview validity or not there are powerful parallels between the adoption experience and joining a family different to yourself that we can learn from. As well as many other issues raised in the ITV broadcast such as;

  • What can we learn from the Megan situation about dealing with racism in a family?
  • How can we discuss challenges and find our voice when it isn’t being heard?
  • What wellbeing techniques can we use in the adoption process?

I have a powerful seminar/talk called ‘adoption and wellbeing’ and it is this that I draw from as well in this presentation.

If you are interested with contacting me for your event to speak about adoption and wellbeing then please do get in touch: hello@adoptionarena.com

Please do let me know your thoughts about adoption and wellbeing? How do you stay strong when dealing with long-term family issues? Do let me know your thoughts.

Many thanks,

Joy
