SO much to say but so little time. We got vulnerable this time around, y’all! We talked about how we are the harshest critics of Sri Lankan/South Asian/Brown women. We give less grace to Sri Lankan/South Asian/Brown women vs other women, especially when it comes to wearing revealing clothing/being comfortable and confident in our bodies. Is it “culture”? Is it something else? Do we do it in the name of culture but it’s really something else? We had a few revelations while talking about this. Tune in and let us know your thoughts about this topic.
