If you've ever considered becoming a teacher this is a great time to explore options and Onondaga Community College's School of Education is the place to do it. During the month of August in New York State, nearly 600 full-time teachers submitted their retirement papers. That's a 121% increase from the previous August and a 99% jump from August 2018. With the need for teachers increasing, OCC's School of Education has a combination of five degree and certificate programs including:

  • Early Child Care Certificate
  • Early Childhood A.A.S.
  • Liberal Arts & Sciences: Adolescent Education A.A.
  • Liberal Arts & Sciences: Childhood Education A.A.
  • Physical Education & Exercise Science Studies A.S.
