The Lord gives us rest from living the way we live so we can live the way He wants us to live
Our Independence from the rule of men should lead us to our Dependence on the God of all creation.
The things of God that you permit glorify God more than the things of God that you force.
The Lord's Word is the map we can use to stop living towards the world and to start living towards God.
Free will is the essence of God's Love for us. He gives us the choice to choose to be loved by Him.
If God is for a moral issue, then satan must be against it. If God is against a thing, we must be certain that satan is for it.
God is not hear to have us change what He believes. He is here to change what we believe about Him and about the world.
When you deny yourself the things that are pleasurable to life you will learn to enjoy more of the pleasures of life.
When we cannot understand the impossible, the Lord gives us unimaginable understanding to keep moving forward.
If you don't care about what others see in you, they will not care about what they see in you.
The Lord does not put polish on your old life; He gives you a new life so you do polished things.
Give what is dying of your to the Lord and He will bring to life that which death wants of yours.
The quickest way to get the Lord to act on your desires is for you to stop acting on your own desires.
We must learn the cost to be free to do as we like means we come to be free from the need to do as we please.
The way out of the evil that is before you is to put the Lord before all that is against you.
The Lord blesses you so that you are a blessing in the places where you live, work, and play.
No matter what may come my way, with the Lord I will always say, it is well with my soul.
You life will follow your thinking. Learn to develop your eternal thoughts through your carnal circumstances.
You make it difficult for you to be heard when you don't know when it's your turn to listen.
When we are troubled, we cannot see the bright light shinning in the middle of our darkness. Jesus must ease our minds so we can see clearly.
People will not speak to you when they know you will not listen to anything they have to say.
When you uncover the reasons you disbelieve, you can learn to believe what you didn't believe before.
When you rob yourself of the things others would steal from you, things will go your way even if you don't get your way
The Lord does not want us to fear Him. Perhaps more than that, He is fearful we may not know Him like we should.
When we learn to hear the Lord, we will hold our opinions while we stand firmly on His positions.
We must first choose to live under the authority of God if we wish to really understand the Word of God.
Perhaps trading your will for His will for you is the best expression of your free will. Free will frees you from the bondage you are held to when you live by your will alone.
Smarter choices come more easily when you are wise enough to wait for understanding you do not have.
The Grace of the Lord is always there to heal our hurts or to carry us through the things that hurt.
If you never learn to reflect on how you live, you may end up living in rebellion to the things of God.
The bigger the problem you face in the Lord, the bigger the Lord shows up in your problem.
The Lord will bring you out of a life without Him so that He can bring you into life with Him.
What you think and feel cannot be the standard for what is right and wrong for yourself or for others.
Unbelief is the inability to disbelieve that your circumstance will never change for the better.
When you allow God to plant His garden into your life, He will nurture and keep your life just as He would all things in the garden.
Before looking for answers to your needs, seek the One who has all the answers to your questions.
The Lord will never speak to your feelings. He will always speak to the persons you are. You must control your feelings.
When the Lord walks with you, the things that come against you cannot walk with Him. Ask for His presence more than for His miracles.
Delivering Excellence and Results must be working in you before you can deliver them in the outcomes you want in life.
Your Edge is what allows you to be distinctive among things that appear to be the same.
Exceptional people never stop trying to make sure they are qualified to be successful in the roles they play.
No one can effectively run a marathon race of 26 miles on the training it takes to run just six miles.
You are not the most important thing in your life. Others are. Things will be ok even if you do not get your way. When you develop social maturity, you will change how you are perceived by others.
Fathers have a special calling in life. Fathers must be trained by the Lord so that we can train our children in the ways of the Lord. We cannot be lazy fathers. The more special we are in how we allow the Lord to develop our lives, the more special we will be as fathers in the lives of our children.
The way you choose to relate to others can bring out the best in others or it can kill the best in others. You don’t have to win at everything; learn to make winners of others. That will make you of great value to them.
Jesus tries to teach us simple ways to skillfully live with others, but you have a choice. Jesus is always looking to help us be our best. He doesn’t use ways contrary to this. When you learn to skillfully navigate the way you choose to be with yourself, you will have more successes as you learn to skillfully relate with others.
You have an individual call of purpose on your life. Spend some time today in prayer. Ask the Lord to help you discover your purpose of life. When you do, you will learn to select activities that fulfill your purpose and avoid activities conflict with your purpose. By being true to your purpose, you will live life more skillfully.
Living skillfully is made easier when you are more aware of who you are and when you see the implications of the things you do. When you are more aware of yourself, you will become more aware of the needs of others. When you are more aware of yourself, you will learn to become more aware of the greatness of the Lord.
People who live skillfully at life listen to the Lord when He tries to transform an old self into someone better by using new insights.
Skillful living is learning to find and use wisdom. Wisdom teaches you that you cannot live from what you learn only. Most people want to live good, successful lives, but few are willing to do what it takes to have that. Most of us want good jobs and great careers, but many of us are unwilling to do what it takes to have those things. Do you want to live a more skillful life? So what’s it going to take? How can you move from wanting to live greater to wanting to do what it takes to live greater.
When you learn He is not finished with your life, you will learn what a finished life in Him can be. Let Him perfect what He has planned to do in you before you try to finish what you want to do with your life.
So many things we do go wrong because we do not choose the right way to do the things we want to do. The right things done in the wrong ways become the wrong things done. Avoid this mistake. Choose how to live before choosing what to do.
No matter what you are facing today, live a life of invitation, and He will surely accept your call. He will make a way for you to live in power and in grace in whatever your circumstance when your life says to Him, “Come Lord Jesus Come. Amen.”
God is your First Love because He First Loved you. That is where He should stand with you.
Once Jesus has delivered you from a way of life, you stop living like a former sinner. Instead, you live delivered. You don’t have to apologize to the world for who you were. Tell the world who you are now because you are never the same, and you will never be the same with Jesus.
With Easter, no tomb can hold us, no stone can block us, and no grave can keep us. Death can only give way to life everlasting.
The Lord is still fashioning us into the material He wants to use with us. He is still writing into our life the message that He wants to be heard through our lives. Our lives are not the message that you or I wrote. It is His message He wrote with the finger and blood of Jesus, right onto the heart for Jesus He gave each of us.
A trustworthy person will do trustworthy things. Be trustworthy. A loving person will do loving things. Be loving. A caring person will do caring things. Be caring. A hard-working person will do hard-working things. Be hard-working. When you are any of these things, people will respect you and accept the things you do.
You need help--yes you. But that help cannot come from a thing. Help must come from Him who made all things. Throw yourself into His arms, and He will keep you.
In all your time living and doing whatever you do, don’t miss the Moments that Jesus wants to make your time special for you.
If the Lord answered all your prayers with the solutions you want, you’d be blind. You will never learn that you have within you the ability to solve many of your problems yourself. Learn to see His invisible Ways at work inside you. These make you better each day.
You may be challenged, but you are never conquered. You have a treasure of power inside you. You were made for more.
If you have ever experienced anything of God, you have heard Him say, "I love you." He loves you; hear that always.
Live in the strong patience of your faith so you will be able to overcome all the things that you believe might have a chance to overcome you.
I pray that 2024 is full of the blessings of God for you and your life. Look ahead to that with the great assurance of God’s faithfulness to want the best for us.
Will you make room in your life and a place for some swaddling cloths and a manger? Jesus may show up at the inn of your life at any time, and He may do so without reservations.
Let’s spend this Christmas Eve with a song in our hearts as we acknowledge what tomorrow means. O Holy Night indeed. Christ our Savior is born.
Washing us is one of the key reasons Jesus came to us. He didn’t come to do a job, He came because He cares about each of us. And because He cares about us, He cares for each of us.
God never plays the game of hide and seek with us. We are never alone, and God is never absent from the place we are at the present. If we seek Him, we will find Him. It’s not hide and seek with Him but seek and find. We find Him because we are never alone from Him.
As you get your Thanksgiving Day started for 2023, do so by first thanking the Lord for thanking God for being our God.
Let’s learn to soften ourselves as we live in the most difficult of times. A soft answer turns away wrath. The harder we make life for ourselves, the harder life will be for us. Anyone can be your enemy if you treat them like they are an enemy. Let’s learn to respond to hard things with better things.
When He says no to you, perhaps it’s because your grace tank is almost empty, or your humility tank is almost empty, or your thankfulness tank is almost empty. Whatever it is, be grateful that when He says no, He always has something better to offer that we didn’t ask for. He fills your tanks with something powerful!
Lord, open our spiritual eyes that we may see the army of angels ready to do battle for us in our natural lives so that we can serve you more with our spiritual lives.
A great harvest awaits you when as a believer you think like a farmer and sow the things in life others will value.
If you have to say more than you understand, others will see you for your foolishness. If you cannot learn to be quieted it is likely you have learned to be like one who seeks more to do your own work through God rather than to allow the Lord to produce the fruits of His work in you.
All we need is faith in Jesus to do for us what all the hope in man will never do. There are times when we need restoration more than we need anything else.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. But fools despise wisdom and instruction. People with hardened hearts despise learning more and they reject more instruction. Let’s pray that this is not who we are. Let’s learn to use what keeps us from learning as a way to help us grow in what we know and in how we learn.
Ask the Lord today to show you your ways and be ready to be transformed from your thoughts to His, from your actions to His, from your views to His, and from your life to His.
The Lord shares enough for us at the time to see that if we can be obedient to the things we understand, we should also be obedient to the things we do not understand. If it comes from God, it makes sense to obey what we do not understand. In doing that, He helps us make a great catch while others just toil in their own efforts.
Giving is important, but we may not have much in the way of material things. When we are a well, we always have something that others can draw from to sustain part of their lives.
Jesus will never stop chasing after you with His offer of giving you Life more abundantly. Stop trying to live your life on your own. Let Him catch you so He can fill the river of your desires with His life of abundance which He offers everyone. This is what is Life.
When you ask God how to move, God will show you what to do. We may feel like there is no time to ask how, but God is all the time we need.
When you are humble and grateful, it does not matter what you have or how much you have. With the Lord it is always more than enough for you to live abundantly.
Use your challenges to free you from the things that hold you back. There is a bit of health in your sickness; there is a bit of patience in your impatience; there is a bit of confidence in your fear; there is a bit of control in your lack of control.
Jesus lives in a place called anywhere. And He operates in a time call anytime. And He can be found in a place called any place because He is a living God.
God is Love and perfect in every way. He is the essence of good. God assures us that He is never going to change by His grace and mercy.
When you stand for Him you stand against your idea of what is right and wrong for you. Things do not have to go your way for things to go well for you. You do not have to be satisfied by man because you are satisfied with Him.
We have gotten off the right path because we want to light our footsteps with our own words. We are stepping into insecure places because we want to light our paths with our own lamps.
When we number our days, wisdom tells us to live as if we are the Lord’s no matter what we may be facing. When we do this, we learn to live under the shadow of His wings, in the Power of His glory, in the abundance of His favor and in the excellence of His workmanship.
O Lord, things may be difficult for me, but I know You shall hide me in the shadow of Your wings.
Learn to focus more on the people around you instead of the things that hinder you. Believe so that you become a help rather than hindrance.
Having a get-to-be spirit keeps us from focusing selfishly on ourselves. It also keeps us from focusing on the things we believe we have to do. God will favor you because you say to Him, I get to be your child, so I am happy to be an instrument of your work in the lives of those You know and those You love.
Favor the moms and the women in our lives no matter how difficult the circumstances of life we face.
All things are Possible Things with God. Put your fear to death and live in belief of the Possible Things that are in your life daily.
Set your heart to learn what Jesus has learned. Learn how He learns. Learn why He learns the things He learns.
Whether in marriage, or friendship, or work, or play, or whatever the situation where you cannot go at it alone, pray for help that is comparable to you.
Because Easter represents God’s promise to believers that as Jesus was resurrected to a new life, never to die again, so it will be possible for all of us who are believers. Jesus made it possible for us to die once, to be brought back into a new life and to never die again.
Think about how you want to be treated by others, and you go first, treating them that way.
God positions Himself ahead of us because He knows the way out of our challenges is to push through them. He is ahead so that He makes the way for us to follow. Being ahead of us helps Him to position Himself to get our attention so we keep our eyes focused ahead and not around.
It is certain that at some time we will be tempted in the areas of Provision, of Position, and of Protection. When you are a child of God, it means you have the power to live free from doubt about your provision in life, your position in life, and your protection in life no matter your circumstances.
A blessed life is one that acknowledges God in the way it lives and one whose path is directed by the Lord. A blessed life is like an angel of the Lord being sent out to respond to the prayer of need of someone else. A blessed life always blesses what it is directed to do.
When you look into the Bible and read God’s Word, understand that the Word is as anxious to look into your life and read back to you.
All these things and more He will provide when you wake up and get on the road to Provision. The little water and bread you have will never run short with God when you first get on the road to seek His Kingdom.
Don’t give the best that you want to give while holding back what you are unwilling to sacrifice for Him. Instead offer and sacrifice to Him the best of who you are.
The Lord means more to us than what He does for us. We can also mean more to others than what we do.
If you recognize Him as your Deliverer, He will see you through the things that come up against you. Praise Him for having been delivered so that He would become our Deliverer.
It is a new year. If you find yourself waking up the same person that you were the yesterday, go back to bed for a bit. Wait for what’s new, Ask the Lord to help you to wake up a new person in some way each day of your life.
Only you can let the Lord do the work He wants to do with you. That work is great, because you are made in His image.
Gain through loss is God’s way of helping us understand that we must always find ourselves changing something about ourselves. Be blessed by the gains and the losses God has planned for us.
If you want to win the battle for your life, let the intentions of your heart transform you to become the good that is missing in the lives of others.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving Day this year, let’s not forget the real reason for our joy. We are a people chosen by God Himself to be His very own. We may be different in many ways, but we are made the same by the same sacrifice of His Son Jesus Who died so that we could live as one people under one great and mighty God.
Instead of living an “Unless I See It” life, start living a “Because I Believe It” life.
Grace received says we should be thankful and perhaps change our ways. Grace given says we are thankful and have changed our ways. Grace is God’s way of saying, “I will give you what you don’t deserve from Me so that you can give others what they don’t deserve from you.”
Careful means we are full of care about who we are and what we mean to life and in the world around us.
Show me Your glory that by my actions and by the way I live, others will see You and know that You are as You say You are.
Lord, show me Your Way, that I may know You. I want to personally meet the Person I have been trying to obey.
While I cannot make God move the way I want, I can be to Him the treasure that He wants.
God may be saying, " You are fighting for what I want you to fight against. You are pursuing what I don’t want you to catch. You are missing what I want you to catch because you are not listening for My voice in your life.”
Because we are impatient, we rush, we get ahead, and we get it wrong. Peace overcomes fear and anxiety. Faith gives you patience.
God wants us to stop living like we have not been changed. If we are nothing unlike the persons we were yesterday, perhaps we are nothing unlike the unbelievers around us.
God's love is perfecting. The perfect love of God will cast out your fear of receiving, of being, and of giving love. Without fear, learn to receive the love of those who fearlessly love you.
He doesn’t want us to faint under the burdens of life we take on by ourselves. Instead, He wants us to walk with Him. When we do this, He fills us with all that we need to walk with Him.
You are your own worst enemy. Learning to overcome how you limit yourself is my message today.
We cannot fight our own battles and have God fight them too. You are not ordinary. You are extraordinary when you come to live on God’s terms.
God the Father is the greatest example of a father we can have. Let’s make it a desire that each father here on earth will be the next greatest example of a father their children can have.
God is Just. He will heal our land and deliver us from this sickness when we accept that much of our ways are morally right for humans but wrong for Him.
The Lord helps you to be satisfied with what you have when the best that you have is Him. There is nothing better than that.
Jesus leads us to the water, but then He goes to work to make us thirsty. Only then will we want to drink.
Love your mothers; provide for their well-being and honor and cherish them all the days of your life.
Grace gives you the power to give the Lord the change that He wants to make in your life.
Ask the Lord to help you learn just enough to be safe with what you know. Then you will live a fruitful life in the Promised Land here that God has reserved for those of us who know Him and who live obediently and in satisfaction with what He reveals to us.
Let this Easter be the time you start praising the Lord because you have breath that won’t let you be silent any longer.
We do not have to always defeat our enemies. Often, the easy things to do is to endure so that our enemy does not defeat us. Endurance is God’s way of making hard things easier.
Bring into your relationship what is complementary to what you want most. God will bless you for this.
When you are lost, living independently and need to be saved into eternal life, call on His Name. When you are living, but life is not working out the best way for you, call on His Name. And when you find yourself serving your wants instead of what He wants for you, call on His Name.
Desires come the heart, the place where the Spirit of the Lord lives. Our desires should be the reasons for the few goals we set in life.
Your mind is not always your friend. Your old mind will keep telling the old you to do the same things when it should be telling you to be transformed to something new so that you can do new things in a new way.
Let’s grab our challenges, carrying with us obedience, belief, and as much faith as we can muster. Then let’s set off to offer all this to the Lord.
Learn to live and behave like something great has a hold of you, and something great will happen around you. Learn to live with respected behavior.
The things of God should transform your life from one of doing to one of being. You have God’s authority to Be the person He wants you to be.
In that second between the end of 2021 and the entry of 2022, if you are up celebrating, celebrate that He is our savior. Its just a second in your life. You won’t miss much of the passing of the old year or the entry of the new year. But you will end the old and start the new with Him at the center of your heart.
God deposited praise and glory into your life yesterday. Let it work in your life so you can live each day now full of joy and happiness and peace with the things that are around you.
Christ's birth gave God the opportunity to love you and to have your life with Him in eternity.
Jesus comes to weddings so He can put two lives together with Him in the middle, creating a marriage of three people to live together as one. This is the miracle of marriage Jesus performs at weddings.
We must learn to be who we are at the heart of our motives. That’s where the true person lives. That is where you will find the person you are supposed to be
Thank You Lord. I am grateful to be one of your people to dwell as a sheep in your pasture. You didn’t have to do it for me, but You did.
If you want to get all that you are due, make certain you are sowing things that that God will give back to you.
Believers must remember that we always have more than enough of any real thing that we may want or need. That is because we have the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
If you wake up the same person today that you were yesterday, go back to sleep and wait for a new person to wake up.
Change from an emotional human desiring to satisfy your soul to a spiritual person desiring to feed you spiritual growth and development.
Learn to see your situation not as just problems or needs. Instead, learn to see your situation as opportunities to strengthen your faith by simply asking God to have mercy on you.
When you speak your mind on all things, people will tune you out on most things. If you want to be heard, learn to speak less, and speak to fewer people. If you want others to hear you learn, to wait for others to ask for your views.
If we do these things from a heart broken for Him and from a spirit that is crushed for Him, then we will find it easy to bless Him with the things of our lives that will make Him happy. Loving a broken people is a blessing to Him. It is the praise that belongs to Him. Indeed, He loves people who are broken for Him.
Sometimes, nothing will change about our circumstances until we change how we see our circumstances.
God wants us to rise up from our laziness, unfold our hands, step out of the poverty of our desires, and step into the prosperity of someone who lives today as if it is the last tomorrow they will see. If the ants can do it, then, with God’s help, so can we.
If God has made His house in your life, then you will have a cloud and a fire over you that tells others the Lord Himself is at hand.
All things are made from some things that are currently no thing until God makes it something of it.
Whatever you want to do in life, aim to do that through Christ Who is the Power of success for all that you will ever need and want.
Ask that the Lord will keep the thoughts and intents of your heart upright before Him, and ask that He will fix your heart to lean toward Him more than towards yourself. If you do this, He will do what you ask and more of what you do in life will be pleasing to Him.
In tough times and in good times, we must learn to always talk with God about the things going on with us.
God must often heal us first of the unseen problem before He can heal us of the thing that we can see.
Learn to live a quiet peaceable life in submission to the higher things of the Spirit that are not seen by those who live for themselves.
Learn to live a protected life—a life that says no matter what comes, there is something greater that surrounds the thing that is against you. Knowing you are protected, wait patiently for the hand of God to deliver you and to deliver the thing that comes against you.
When we come to know that God loves loving us, we are strengthened in the Spirit to live in ways that enable us to overcome the challenges of life that cause others to stumble.
One day Peter asks Jesus how many times he must forgive a person who sins against him. “Up to seven times?” he asks. Peter wasn’t looking for a way to forgive; he was looking for a way to limit forgiveness. Instead of limiting forgiveness, ask God to give you a Spirit of Forgiveness which has no limit.
Let us create memorial stones in our hearts to remind us to remember that God is for our good and never for our harm, despite our world view which might suggest otherwise.
Before He died on the cross, Jesus said, "It is finished." Can we ever really be finished?
Often the circumstances of our lives are so challenging that we fail to see the One Thing about Life that matters the most. Where do we live with our desires?
Live in a Spirit of neighborly love, and you will make neighbors of all people you encounter.
God’s greatest people wake up each day chasing after things that draw them nearer to Him.
Before God can tear down the walls of your enemies, you must first tear down the walls inside yourself.
You may not be worthy on you own to entertain Jesus in your home. But when you live in the Love of God, you make your heart Christ’s home.
God knows how to be God better than we can tell Him to be. Part 3 of 3 on Prodigal Living.
In his prodigal living he left good sense and followed nonsense. He found himself in a pigpen wishing to eat the pigs’ food. How is that for good thinking?
Anyone can be any old person, but the challenge is be a Certain Person in the way this father was.
Do you know someone who always seems to find a way to see what is not possible? We must stop believing the impossible.
As a conductor on the Underground Railroad, Harriett Tubman led escaped slaves North to freedom. One of the songs of the Underground Railroad was the traditional black American Spiritual “Wade in the Water”. The words of this song are:
Wade in the water, wade in the water children
Wade in the water,
God's gonna trouble the water.
Recently I was up early in the morning. I walked outside to get our newspaper. I hurried as it was a cold morning, and I don’t like cold at all. So I was quick and purposeful as I stepped outside and into an environment that I don’t like. Then it came to me.
Throughout our lives, we will live and listen to a lot of things. We listen to people–we listen to the media; we listen to teachers; we (or at least some of us, unfortunately) listen to the noise of social media–in a way you are listening to me right now. But we need to be very careful about who we listen to.
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, lies, pride, superiority, and ego.” He went on, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, goodness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith – oh and did I say Love. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
In the movie The Color Purple they sing the song “God is trying to tell you something”. It is a classic song that speaks to the lengths God will go to speak to us. In a way He must go to great lengths to talk to us because we will often go to great lengths to miss what He tries to say to us.
There are many ways believers act no differently from the nonbeliever, but there is one way that is particularly bothersome. The nonbeliever doesn’t believe in the Lord, so he thinks he must make it on his own. Then there are believers who know the Lord, but they act as if they must make it in life on their own. Both fail to realize that the Lord is a heavenly father Who is interested in helping us live successfully here on earth as we are given to serving Him.
Today my message is about the genealogy of you. But unlike the many ancestry tools we have today that are supposed to take a sample of your DNA and trace your beginnings back to someone or some people, the question we are asking is in whose life can we trace your future?
Jesus warns us about being the kind of people who trust in themselves that they are righteous and they look down on others.
Joseph grabbed his father’s hands and tried to reverse them, but Jacob knew what he was doing.
In the book of Isaiah, scripture recounts a conversation King Hezekiah had with God: “For hell cannot thank You; death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the grave cannot hope for Your Truth. The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day. The father shall make known Your Truth to the children”.
Why can’t we make ourselves be what we try to make others to be? Why can’t we make ourselves do what we try to make others do? Why don’t we view ourselves with the same judgment we view others?
I was once a very fickle person; changing my mind often. I cared only for what cared for me. I loved only what loved me. And worse, I judged most things to be unworthy of my best because I thought my best was deserved by only the best. I was like many people whose nature is to run away from our storms and to the safety of the shelters we built for ourselves.
“The Lord said; for as much as this people draw near Me with their mouths, and with their lips they do honor Me, but they have removed their heart far from Me” (Isaiah 29:13).
Anxiety robs confidence! Hebrews 13:5 says “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said “I will never leave you nor forsake you””. A few years ago I studied for six months and took a 400 question, six hour test for a professional certification I needed for my work. There were over two hundred people gathered together with me on the day of the test. Half of them walked out of the testing center after only two hours- discouraged because the test was not easy. I was one of the last people to finish. At first I was overwhelmed at the magnitude of questions and the things I needed to know. But I knew I had diligently studied and prepared myself; I was happy going into the test so I knew I would be happy coming through it.
You need my self-awareness. In the book of Matthew 7:3 we are asked “And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye”? One day I stopped to answer this question.
This episode explains why these Podcasts exist. My Moment at the Well can be your Moment at the Well too.
