The Town of Prescott Valley is soliciting applicants for a Town Council member position that has become vacant due to the recent resignation of Councilmember Bill Williams, effective May 1, 2025. ARS §9-235(a) provides that the Council fills such vacancies by appointment until the next regularly scheduled Council election. The appointed term will run through December 2026. The incumbent may choose to run in the August 2026 election to fulfill the remaining two years of the original term.
