Liam Neeson in what for many is a career-defining role: playing a retired special ops agent and divorced dad who employs a “very particular set of skills” when his teenaged daughter is kidnapped by sex traffickers. It’s the first of a trio of blockbuster movies, featuring plenty of revenge and violence.
