This short devotional is called the net. Simon Peter admitted to the Lord what He was commanding made no sense; nevertheless, Peter exchanged his will for that of Jesus.

Jesus used this illustration to broaden His disciple’s understanding of His gospel commission. And that He is aware of our temporal needs. If we place our faith and trust in Him… He will take care of us… We, in turn, will use the gifts and talents He has given to share the gospel. He has promised a good harvest if we but trust Him and allow Him to define our success.
