The Christian stands in faith, demonstrating a victory that Jesus has already won on their behalf. The Adamic nature inside the believer and the law of sin and death outside produces a constant temptation to refight the battle against our flesh with the arm of the flesh. Using the law as  a means of victory will plunge the Christian into greater defeat and keep them from living the victorious Christian life. We stand in faith against every temptation that would lead us to doubt Gods word.
