This week Jo and Mel talk about one of the fundamental Kaizen principles; making it known.  Jo tells us how this is one of her favourites and why.  They discuss the range of subjects that we might want to bring into the light, whether that is about process problems, or data on cost and volume of the issue, or about behaviour and the impact it has on others.

They also talk about the use of Visual Boards or visual clues in a workplace or personal setting to help us know where we are now, where we are going, and what the standards are.

Both agree that there is a time and place to speak your truth, but sometimes it is also wise to hold your silence and let others work it through for themselves.
