Below is a link to download the song as an mp3 https://mcdn.podbean.com/mf/web/r88abr/Never_Really_Gone_-_Adrianne_Blanks8ygnw.mp3 Venmo Adrianne here if you'd like to support her future endeavors The story behind the song - My parents, Blanks & Tanya Marie Bettenhausen, died when I was 10 months old. The song is about my relationship to my grief losing them so young. It was hard growing up because there was no textbook for how to deal with this specific type of loss. I was put in a lot of general counseling but the only place I saw myself represented were characters like Sabrina, and Harry Potter. That’s why I wanted to write this song and share my story, because if it helps even one person, then it was worth opening up about.
