Restaurants should be upfront with consumers about surcharges. Other states have additional restrictions and lockdowns, and the supply chain crisis is a huge issue, along with out of stock and overpriced items. Lack of staff is another problem, some restaurants are operating at 50% capacity due to a shortage of people. Seniors are even reentering the workforce, but the question is, will they stay?
