Pastor Stewart talks about overcoming hatred with love. Love is paramount in the Christian faith. Without love it's impossible to please God. Jesus said, "I leave you a new commandment". Love God first and love your neighbor as yourself. It's easy to hate and despise someone. It's harder to show forth Godly love. When someone wounds you and you want to retaliate, that's when you should go to the Rock. The Rock that's Christ Jesus. The Rock that's stronger than we are. That's higher than we are. Hatred follows the past of least resistance. Love takes effort. Trust God and love his people. Following this rule and applying it in everyday life will help you when you find yourself not wanting to show forth Godly love. Love overcomes hate.
