Proverbs 1, beginning at verse 15, says, "My son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path, for their feet run to evil and they make haste to shed blood. Surely in vain, the net is spread in the sight of any bird."

Can anyone argue that birds are anything but a wonder designed and enabled by the Creator? They have abilities of which the rest of us can only dream. Their instincts allow them to elude man's schemes to take them captive.

As believers in Christ, we are also divinely enabled to live in freedom unless we choose to embrace the crooked reasonings of the fallen society that is all around us. Read Proverbs 1:10 19. If we yield to this fallen world's greed and resentments, we are indeed caught in their net.
