Joshua 7:19: Now, Joshua said to Achan, My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel and make confession to him, and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.

There's a time in every life to confess and return to a place of strength. The man in this story engaged in wrong, bringing weakness to himself, his family, and many others. His confession brought glory to God by returning people to a place of strength.

His death reminds us that our old nature, with all of its perverse desires, must be put away for the kingdom of Heaven's sake. It's time to live, right? Others depend on it.
