In 2024, the Ontario government is planning to spend an extra $2 billion on home care services, a 3-year plan to revamp a struggling section of the province’s healthcare system. However, this approach is allegedly putting Ontarians without family doctors at a further disadvantage, and it doesn’t do enough to cut down on wait times at Ontario’s Emergency Rooms.
