As part of a new pilot project, 3 major grocery stores in Ottawa will be offering reusable containers. Starting at select locations, customers will be able to purchase a certain list of items in these containers. Once they are done using them, the containers will be returned to drop-off locations. If your grocery store offered this plan, would you take advantage of it? Meantime, Hamilton is about to become the first Ontario municipality to implement a renoviction bylaw. If someone wants to do a renovation on their property, but they have tenants living there, what process would they have to follow? Plus, how much additional protection do the tenants actually receive? Kristy chats with Hamilton councillor Nrinder Nann, who has spent the past several years pushing for this bylaw to be approved.
