The Setup

Indiana’s been the steadier team: efficient, disciplined, and not beating themselves. Miami is the opposite vibe: higher ceiling, more speed, and the ability to flip a game with one explosive or short field.

Scott’s Pick: Indiana Wins

Scott’s riding the consistency. If this stays a clean, methodical, “don’t blink” championship game, he trusts Indiana to execute and close.

Marc’s Pick: Miami Wins + Miami +8.5

Marc is fading in the public's love and taking the points with the explosive team. If the game gets weird or turns into any kind of track meet, he thinks Miami has the playmakers to steal it — and +8.5 is too much.

Our Favorite Angle: 1st Half Unders

Both of the boys are aligned on the same vibe in both games: start slow, feel each other out, avoid the early mistake, and keep it tight through halftime. In CFP semis, you usually get a lot more chess than fireworks early—especially with elite athletes, conservative opening scripts, and coordinators playing “don’t lose” before they play “go win.”

Miami Game: Marc’s Full Game Under

Marc isn’t just living in the first half—he’s got a stronger position here: full game Under in the Miami semifinal. He likes the overall matchup to lean toward longer drives, fewer explosive plays, and the kind of red-zone stiffness that turns touchdowns into field goals. If Miami gets a lead, he expects the pace to drag even more.

Oregon: Cover… and Maybe a Live Dog

Marc’s side in the other semifinal: Oregon to cover, and he’s not ruling out a little spice—Oregon as a live dog depending on how the game opens. If the Ducks get behind early (or the market overreacts to one Indiana/Oregon punch), Marc is ready to shop a better number in-game.

Bama vs. OU — Total Under (and 1H Under)
Marc and Scotty are together on this one: they like the full game Under, and they also like the 1st Half Under. Round 1 often starts tight and cautious—scripted drives, conservative play-calling, field position, and a whole lot of “don’t be the guy who gifts a touchdown.” If this turns into punts + long fields + red zone tightening, a slow first half is very live.

Miami vs. Texas A&M — Miami as a Live Dog
They also see Miami as a live dog against the Aggies. Not a “cute dog,” but the kind that can hang around and make this uncomfortable if Miami hits a couple explosives and keeps A&M from turning it into a trench-warfare game. If A&M sputters early or Miami’s speed shows up in space, the favorite can feel real pressure late.

Chalk Takes (Favorites to Handle Business)

JMU vs. Oregon — Chalk Holds
Both think chalk will hold in JMU–Oregon. The read: Oregon’s overall talent and depth should show over four quarters, and if the favorite plays clean early, this one can turn into the kind of “slow squeeze” where the underdog is fighting uphill the whole second half.

Tulane vs. Ole Miss — Chalk Holds
Same stance in Tulane–Ole Miss: both expect the favorite to take care of business. The idea is less about disrespecting Tulane and more about acknowledging what usually wins in playoff-style games—line play, speed on the edges, and the ability to finish drives when the field shrinks.

What We’re Debating

Round 1 tempo: Who actually wants to play fast, and who’s going full “don’t lose it early” mode?
Red zone reality: Playoff games are often decided by TDs vs. FGs more than highlight plays.

With only 4 teams left and 3 games to go, it's hard to believe we have finally reached the penultimate step to crowning a natty champ in our new tournament format. With games over the next 5 days, plenty of betting opportunities are ahead.

Game 1. Penn State vs Notre Dame.
Both of the Boys agree on the under 46

Game 2 Ohio State vs Texas +5.5

Ohio State looks to have finally found its stride, but I also think it may have overhauled its offense to create more explosive plays. Tennessee and Oregon had no answers defensively. Conversely, the OSU D has really stepped up their game. The back 7 has played well in every game except the Oregon game. Now it looks like the front 4 are buckled up.

Texas has the talent to win this game, but we have not really seen this team rise to the occasion all season. In their 3 toughest matchups, they went 1-2 ATS and SU.

Ewers has looked serviceable after being banged up in the last game of the season, but we have not seen him be able to take over a game. For Texas to win this one, Ewers is going to have to take a huge step forward. Sark has done a great job scripting the opening drives all season. We should know early if Texas can stay within the number of 5.5.

With only one week left in the season and conference championship games next week, there are still 7-8 playoff spots up for grabs.

This weekend's slate of college football may not excite Casual fans, but those of us who are trying to figure out how to make a few bucks this season and who's going to make the college football playoffs will be very interested.
Georgia and Tennessee will face off in what is essentially an elimination game for these two schools. George is a big favorite at home, and we're going to find out if Tennessee is for real.
Texas travels to Fayettenam for a match-up against Woo Pig Suey, which could be exciting. We're also going to figure out if Texas is getting ready to make a run at this National Championship in the SEC title.
The Boys in Special underwear will be hosting Kansas. The Jayhawks have found something over the last several weeks and are getting things rolling.
Wisconsin will open the doors to Camp Randall and let the Oregon Ducks waddle their way in. Can they stay within two touchdowns? Scott seems to think so.

This season the league looks to be very Top Heavy; over half of the league is predicted at 6.5 wins or under, with Toledo & Ohio as the front runners to win the Conference Title.

The Mountain West is led by the Boys on the Smurf Turf. Look for them to lead this conference after negotiating an interesting pre-conf slate. CSU looks to be improved and could offer some nice opportunities as well and you can never count out the AF Falcons.

The Big 12 as we know it will wrap up at the end of this season, with Texas and Oklahoma moving to the SEC in 2024. The Big 12 looks very top-heavy, with OU and Texas being the betting favorites. Texas Tech is garnering tremendous hype, and let us not forget that TCU was in the Natty 6 months ago.

The Big 10 has Michigan and Ohio State slated as the favorite to win the league, but is there any value in betting on either of these teams? The boys dig into Wisky with their new coach, Iowa with the offensive ultimatum, and a few other interesting tidbits in the Big 10.

The SEC looks to be top-heavy again this season, with UGA the favorite to repeat as Natty Champs. The boys dig in to see if this could be the year Bama starts to decline. Can Brian Kelly take LSU back to the promised land?

Mike London is on the hot seat and it will be a true test of his coaching effort to keep this team for one more year.

Vandy has fallen hard after the exit of James Franklin and in 2015 most are waiting to see if the Commodores can get back to respectability.

Aggies continue to amass talent but they are still likely one year away. However is Chavis can improve the D they could be a dark horse in the SEC.

Tennessee is finally getting back to an acceptable talent level after Phil Fulmer made them a national power before being shownt he door. While still young this team is very talented but do they have the depth to step back to the top of the SEC East? Butch Jones has done an outstanding job these first couple of years but the next step is the hardest step!

The ol ball coach isn't used to 7-6. After making changes at DC can the Gamecocks get back to the top of the East?

Gary Pinkel has done a phenomenal job at Missouri and is the two time defending SEC East champion. Can the tigers make it a trifecta?

One of the most talented teams in the country must find a quarterback! This year brings a change at DC, how much will that hurt the tigers is also a major question.

The most talented team in the East has found a way to not win it the last couple of years. Will that be the case again in 2015?

Still a rebuilding project in Gainesville or can the new staff provide instant success?

2014 brought an end to the losing streak but how far can Arkansas climb in 2015? With a punishing run attack the Hogs will be fun to watch!

TCU is coming off Big 12 Conference championship season and huge Bowl win. Trevone Boykin will be leading one of the top 5 offenses in the country. The defense only brings back a handful of starters but Gary Patterson has proven he can put together a top tier defense year after year. Patterson is one of the few coaches in the country that has developed a defensive scheme that can slow down the run/pass/option offenses.

The Bears are coming off of back to back Big 12 championships. Art Briles has turned Baylor into a legitimate contender to win the conference each year. Bryce Petty has moved on the NFL but the Bears return 19 starters and again have a shot at winning the conference title.

Bob Stoops and Sooners are coming off a disappointing 2014 season that was plagued with inconsistency and injury. The Sooners overhauled their coaching staff and look to switch to a more Air Raid offense.

The Cowboys look to bounce back after a subpar season in 2014. Mason Rudolph will lead an offense that should be back on track with the production we have come accustom with. The defense will also be improved this season and the Cowboys are a legit dark horse to win the Big 12 with a schedule that sets up in their favor.

Charlie Strong is looking to improve on a 6-7 season in his second year. The Longhorns lack strong QB play but will return healthy starters up front on the O Line. The D was the strength of the team in 2014 and will have to have another strong showing if the Horns have a chance to hit 7 to 8 wins.

Betting against Bill Snyder is rarely a way to grow your bankroll. The Wildcats have proven time and time again they can over perform. This year's team is going to have the ball bounce the right way many times if they look to contend for the Big 12 title.

College football's regular season is sadly coming to an end this weekend. Conference champions will be decided in all of the major conferences before Saturday ends and it will be up the selection committee to determine the 4 best teams in the country. We have a big board this weekend. Let's Roll

Rivalry Week always brings out the best in teams and this season is no different. With teams fighting to become bowl eligible and others trying to qualify to play in the conference championship this holiday weekend has a solid slate of games. We look to rebound with 6 plays this week.

This week's games may not be a marquee slate for the TV viewers but from a handicapping perspective there there a few nuggets out there to exploit. This week we also get to hear Scott have a small rant about the Big10 and the college football playoff. 5-2 in week 12...let's roll.

Week 11 is shaping up to look like week 6 in college football. With some upsets on the horizon and a few games that will be overlooked that may turn out to be interesting.

Week 7 landed a 5-3 week for The Crazy Sheet. We saw Mississippi State take over as the number 1 team and the country and the upsets just keep on coming. This week we have 9 games on the board including the Catholics vs. Creminoles.

Week 6 was jam packed with upsets and this week we are guaranteed to see two more top 10 teams lose with the TCU vs. Baylor and Missy State vs. Auburn match ups.
