This episode is about rest for our souls. Rest for your soul is deeper than any other kind of rest we can experience. It’s not based on conditions or circumstances. It is rooted in our faith and confidence that we’re deeply and unconditionally loved, and held in his arms. True rest for our soul comes when we trust God fully, which is quite different from merely saying we trust God. Words will not give us the rest our souls long for. Here are a few approaches to crossroads:
Make a Major Change
Crossroads can be approached lightly, but heading straight for it at full force may make the best path even better. Force the crossroad to give you the best path.
Act Before You Think
In any case, acting before you think gets you somewhere with immediate results whereas thinking before leaves you where you are and you are left to imagine the place you could’ve gone to, had you made the decision instead of overthinking it.
Backtrack
Backtracking may not always be possible, but in cases where it is possible and if it is necessary, it should be considered as an option.

This episode is about having consistency in our lives and what consistency does for us.
1. Consistency Enables Measurement. Unless you try a new behavior consistently for a period of time you won’t know if it works or not. How would you measure the new behavior’s effectiveness if you cannot measure consistent performance?
2. Consistency Produces Accountability.
Unless you consistently execute your roles and responsibilities others cannot be certain that you will be accountable for your actions.
3. Consistency Establishes Your Reputation.
Performance consistency adds to your professional reputation. When you achieve a track record of success, your professional reputation speaks for itself. You won’t establish a track record if you are forever shifting gears or trying new tactics – such as chasing the next shiny object – if you don’t deliver results.
4. Consistency Keeps You Relevant.
To remain relevant, you have to be consistently and evenly present and contributing to the conversation, not just when the large or sexy projects are up for discussion.
5. Consistency Reinforces Your Message.
The people around you pay more attention to what you do rather than what you say. Consistency of behavior builds confidence in your message.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Season - one of the four periods of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter),
for a time, especially a short time:
a period of the year when something is best or available:
Purpose - the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc.
That we live in a world of changes, that the several events of time, and conditions of human life, are vastly different from one another, and yet occur promiscuously, and we are continually passing and repassing between them, as in the revolutions of every day and every year. In the wheel of nature what goes around comes around.

Breakthrough. It sounds good. It even sounds like something everyone should WANT IN THEIR LIVES. To understand what breakthrough means and why it is an important WE MUST DEFINE WHAT IT IS! According to Webster’s Dictionary a breakthrough is defined as: 1warfare : an offensive military assault that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line 2: an act or instance of moving through or beyond an obstacle 3a : a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique
King David
2 Samuel 5:19 19 Then David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand?” And the LORD said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand.”
He was positioned in a Valley.(AT TIMES WE ARE ALSO IN THAT PLACE) the Valley of Rephaim. The Valley of Rephaim is where David obtained a signature victory over the Philistines; it was higher than Jerusalem which is why David asked, “Shall I go up against the Philistines?”
WE MUST ALSO DO WHAT DAVID DID: -WE MUST GO UP - WE MUST MOVE -POSITION OUR SELVES INTO A POSITION TO OBTAIN THE BREAKTHROUGH!

Yes, God is in the filling business. In fact, the word "fill" means to be satisfied in the sense of being stuffed after a sumptuous meal.

Denzel Washington talked about his experience with God and the Holy Spirit. However he concluded although it kept him grounded in spite of himself, he Accepted it, Experienced it, but was not ready to live it.
This is a very interesting statement. We find ourselves accepting and believing in something that is true and good for us and we have experience that validates that. However we are not ready to fully commit to it because of other things that seem more important at various times in our life. In other words we want to put it off until we enjoy pleasures or do the things that may take us further from what is worth living for.

Quote: Growth is when you don’t give energy to things that use to bother you
Growth - Advancement; progress; improvement; as growth in grace or piety.
Grace- Appropriately, the free unmerited love and favor of God, the spring and source of all the benefits men receive from him.
Energy - capacity or tendency for intense activity
2 Peter 3:18
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
My grace is sufficient for thee. 2 Cor.12:9-10
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
