Brenna has programmed us an Oscar-winning short Trevor(1994) that also led to the creation of The Trevor Project.

Directed by Peggy Rajski and written by Celeste Lecesne, the ~18 minute short is clever and slightly surreal, though C/W for suicide attempt.
