Recently, I attended an event and found myself sitting next to a man I’d never met before.
As we began to talk, it quickly became clear that he was successful on many fronts.
He’d built a prosperous business career, which had brought him considerable wealth.
Currently, he works for a highly respected organization that collaborates closely with the Church and has contributed significantly to its success.
He’s well-connected, with relationships spanning general authorities and influential business leaders alike.
During our conversation, he shared some remarkable insights he’d developed—ideas that could truly benefit many members of the Church.
He’d considered writing a book, but for a busy man, that’s a long and demanding journey.
Even after consulting several of his general authority contacts, he found there was no clear way to get his ideas out to the wider community.
He felt stuck, with something valuable to share but no easy platform to share it.
Then, our paths crossed.
I’m just an ordinary guy, but I happen to have a big megaphone that reaches the greater leadership world in our church.
You can imagine his excitement when I said:
“Well, would you like to share your idea on the Leading Saints podcast?”
In that moment, I was reminded of the special work we do at Leading Saints.
We are the think tank of Zion.
If someone has an idea that could change church culture, improve meeting effectiveness, or transform a Relief Society lesson, Leading Saints is the place to share it.
It can start with a simple post in the Leading Saints Community.
You might submit an article for publication on LeadingSaints.org.
Or, you could request to be on the podcast and reach thousands—potentially impacting the Church community at large.
If it’s a great idea, people will embrace it.
If it falls flat, we can dismiss it and move on.
Ryan Webb single-handedly disrupted how thousands of wards approach sacrament meeting.
Kurt Brown inspired bishops worldwide, leading to countless individuals feeling more comfortable in their wards.
Sharla Dance is blessing the lives of children she’s never met, simply because she stepped up to the Leading Saints megaphone.
So, what do you have to share?
What has the Lord placed on your heart that could make a difference in Zion’s think tank?
Don’t wait until you’re invited to speak at general conference.
Share it now.
Step up to the megaphone.
Sincerely,
Kurt Francom
