Each elders’ quorum Sunday, our presidency finds one facilitator for every 5-7 men who attend the quorum meeting. Facilitator responsibilities are rotated through the quorum each time. They are invited via text during the week to come prepared to facilitate the discussion, including time focused on a general conference talk. We let them choose which general conference talk they would like to discuss; however, this can also be assigned.
As facilitators enter the quorum meeting, they are handed a printout of the script below and put into a group of 5-7 (give or take) with those who have already arrived. They then read through the script while leading the discussion. This includes portions of warm-up, prayer, connection, and general conference discussion, and ends with a prayer in a circle of trust.
Feel free to use this script and modify it to fit the needs of your quorum or group.

WARM-UP
We will take a few minutes to get to know those in our circle for 3-4 minutes by asking some fun questions. Who can set a timer on their phone for 4 minutes

OPENING
Welcome to the Elders Quorum—as instructed in the handbook, we work together to help accomplish God’s work of salvation and exaltation. We serve others, fulfill priesthood duties, build unity, and learn and live doctrine. We also seek emotional, spiritual, and physical strength. We start with a prayer from the heart. Who would like to offer it?

This support group aims to foster connection and authenticity, enabling us to better fulfill our duties and learn doctrine. Share as much or as little as you feel comfortable; however, we invite you to lean into sharing what is most authentic and real.
We follow the rules of Alcoholics Anonymous: “Whom you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here.”
WINS
We celebrate the victories—big or small—that help us grow as men in life, work, and faith. This is a space to recognize and encourage one another’s progress. What wins or moments of growth have you recently experienced?

We encourage brotherhood through connection. We can serve each other better if we know where you’re at personally. Feel free to be as detailed as you’re comfortable with when you share. The question is, in at least one word or phrase, how are you showing up here today?
