008: Self-Control gets a bad wrap these days. More and more behaviors that are extreme are acceptable or even praised. Yet, God’s word tells us the benefits of having it. And there are many because this attribute connects to so many areas of our hearts and lives. These benefits are character based which has a long lasting effect, impacting our relationship to everything and everyone around us. The truth of the matter is that we cannot escape ourselves, so who we are and the fruit of who we are is always with us.
