Africa needs a platform, where constructive dialogue among African leaders and other stakeholders for implementing strategies for job creation and skills development, as well as an opportunity for promoting a South-South learning and exchange, with an eye to rural development, will be instituted.

This platform can raise awareness of the magnitude of the challenges that Africa is facing in coming decades; as well as the need for transformational development strategies, based on multi-sectoral, place-based and participatory approaches, for job creation among many others.
