This particular episode looks at the 2nd Africa 2017 Forum recently held in the Red Sea resort of Sharma El Sheik in Egypt, under the theme: “Driving Investment for Inclusive Growth”. The forum is a business platform convened to increase intra-Africa investment and cross-border trade. It builds on the successful first edition that held in February 2015. This year it was enhanced to include two Presidential Roundtables where business leaders discussed policy with invited African presidents. We feature Katherine Ichoya of COMESA, Lerato Mataboge, CEO of Trade Invest Africa – an initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry of SA, Carlos Lopes who previously was Executive Secretary of Economic Commission for Africa and Omar Ben Yedder, Group Publisher and managing director of IC Publications.
