This week we interview a young person with a promising future. Mr Shelton Chadya was born in Zimbabwe. He came to South Africa to work as a child but decided to go to school. He joined Ikamva Youth Academic Support organization which was coordinated by our very own community activist and presenter Joe Manciya. As a result he passed his matric with distinctions. He was accepted at Wits University where he completed his first year before he was financially excluded. He went to complete his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He briefly worked in the corporate space but needed to give back to the community youth in the same way that he benefited as a learner. He is now working for OLICO Foundation, which is a Maths and Science academic support service in the township of Diepsloot in South Africa. He is planning to escalate academic support to the African Continent and own a big corporation in the future. Join Joe Manciya and Thabisa Dyala joined by our resident guest Black Zonwabele Tshayana who is a published author of a book called The Things We Do.
