South Africa commemorates National Disability Right Awareness Month annually between 3 November to 3 December. 3 December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and is also commemorated as National Disability Rights Awareness Day.

Thabisa caught up with Zain Bulbalia, the spokesperson of the Disability Unit in the Office of the Premier (David Makhura) in Gauteng during an event held in Gauteng, South Africa in commemoration of Disability Awareness Month.
