Some kids dream of becoming Soccer players, Rugby Players, Tennis players or even go into Motor Racing. Roller Derby isn't a first thought as a career sport choice but in essence is a lot of fun bringing some level of retro back. We have an official Roller Derby team and they going oversees! Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams of five members roller skating in the same direction around a track. Game play consists of a series of short matchups ("jams") in which both teams designate a scoring player (the "jammer") who scores points by lapping members of the opposing team.
