The Constitutional Court has found the Copyright Act to be unconstitutional for unfairly discriminating against persons with visual disabilities. In a historical judgment, the Apex court confirmed that the Act of 1978 limits access to reading materials in accessible formats for persons who are blind or visually impaired.
