SAfm — Spies, espionage, leaked documents - all the makings of a Hollywood thriller. Upon closer look this global headline story is much closer to home. News network Al Jazeera has in its possession hundreds of secret intelligence documents from some of the world's spy agencies - including South Africa. Among the documents include correspondence that South African and Ethiopian spies struggled to "neutralise" an assassination plot targeting a leading African diplomat as well as a spy cable exposing an alleged cover up of the theft of South African missile technology.
