Young women are doing their bit to fight the scourge of HIV/AIDS among their peers. Close to two thousand young women aged 15 to 24 are infected with HIV in South Africa every week. That is a huge set back for a country that has worked hard to respond to the epidemic and reduce the number of HIV deaths.
