Atleast three kidnapping cases involving children have been reported around the country over the past week. The youngest victim was a two month old from Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape. And in all the cases the alleged kidnappers are people related to the victims. Although in these three cases none of the children were physically harmed, the incidents have cast the safety of children into the spotlight. Reporter Benita Enoch looks at what drives a person to abduct a child and the challenges organisations who have to search and rescue these children have to deal with.
