Eight SABC journalists have scooped the Nat Nakasa Award for courageous journalism at an event in Johannesburg last night. The journalists, some of whom have been suspended, others facing disciplinary action have been honoured for their courage in challenging a decision by the public broadcaster to ban the broadcast of violent protests.
